In Oncology 4 (Case Management I), you will practice the workup of cancer in dogs and cats based on a mixture of common and unusual or challenging cases. Attendees are expected to actively participate in the workup of cases in small groups or plenum using a problem-oriented approach. 

A major emphasis is on learning good decision-making in oncology including, for example, choosing correct diagnostic tests, interpreting radiographic findings and cytology samples (dry-lab with videos), choosing appropriate staging procedures and formulating a therapeutic plan. For that purpose there will be only a few "lectures", and students are expected to work in small teams on laptops to review imaging and cytology findings, pathology reports, etc., and to develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans.

Case management in Oncology 4 will focus primarily on the following tumours:

• Skin tumours
• Head & neck tumours
• Abdominal tumours
• Tumours of the pelvic cavity
• Thoracic tumours
• Bone tumour

All modules will be held in China, in the English language with consecutive translations in Chinese.
