Dr Lionel Schilliger graduated from the National Veterinary School of Nantes (France) in 1990 and has been in practice with dogs, cats and reptiles ever since. He certified in canine and feline nutrition in 1992 and in clinical haematology-biochemistry of small companion animals in 1998. He also certified in Internal Medicine of companion animals in 2010. He is a Diplomate of the European College of Zoological Medicine (Herpetology) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (Reptile & Amphibian Practice). Lionel Schilliger is a representative member of his country in the International Committee of the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian (A.R.A.V) and the author of several papers and practical guides to reptile medicine and surgery worldwide.
