Dr Simona Morini graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Milan in Italy, in 1994.

She had worked in Small Animal Private Practice for 20 years as clinician and sonographer consultant for Internal Medicine and Cardiology. She had been involved in Canine and Feline Heartworm Disease research projects publishing numerous articles in peer reviewed journals.

She recently took the ECFVG certification and NAVLE to be licensed to work abroad.

She currently works at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists in Alton, UK, as sonographer and supervisor of the Outpatient Imaging Service. She has been an abdominal ultrasound instructor in national and international courses.

Her main interests are thoracic and abdominal imaging, emergency medicine and cardiology.
