- Since 1994 participation at numerous external and internal dermatological meetings, including co-organisation of the „Controversies in Veterinary Dermatology“ for many years
- Since 1990 Associate Member of the European Society of Veterinary Dermatology (ESVD)

- 1991- today speaker for numerous meetings in veterinary and human Dermatology in Europe and China, author of many publications in veterinary dermatology, author of 3 dermatology books, reviewer for various German veterinary journals
