Dr. Ilaria Tommasi graduated in veterinary in 2019 from Turin University with an undergraduate thesis in ultrasound. She soon joined Imperiese Veterinary Referral Center, completing her rotating internship focusing on intensive care and anesthesiology. She soon developed a strong interest in diagnostic imaging and research, switching departments and leading to contributions to publications and oral presentations to national and international congresses. At the same time, she achieved a GPCert AbdoUS qualification after following courses, passing the practical section, and passing the written exam. She is completing her specialistic diagnostic imaging internship under Giliola Spattini's (DVM, PhD, Dipl. ECVDI) supervision to further her expertise in veterinary diagnostic imaging, particularly advanced ultrasound.
