Dr. Palizzotto graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 2016 from the University of Turin, after which he completed a visiting period at the Centre Hospitalier Vétérinaire Frégis (Paris). In 2017, he embarked on a rotational internship at the Anicura Malpensa Veterinary Clinic, where he subsequently became a collaborator in the Internal Medicine Department under the supervision of Dr. Magda Gerou Ferriani (Dipl. ECVIM-CA, Internal Medicine). In 2019, he began a specialized internship in internal medicine at Anicura Istituto Veterinario di Novara. During this time, he also collaborated with the Birkenfield Pet Hospital in Shanghai, focusing on internal medicine and training. In September 2019, he started a Residency in Internal Medicine under the supervision of Dr. Carolina Callegari (Dipl. ECVIM-CA, Internal Medicine), and he obtained the European Diploma in Internal Medicine (European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, ECVIM-CA) in 2025.
Currently, Dr. Palizzotto works as a clinician in the Internal Medicine Department at Anicura Istituto Veterinario di Novara. He is the author and co-author of international publications and a speaker at national courses on internal medicine. His areas of interest include nephrology, particularly feline amyloidosis, endocrinology, and hematology. In his free time, he enjoys ski mountaineering, climbing, and traveling.
