Miriam Niederbacher, Mag. med. vet., is currently a Resident in Neurology at Vetmeduni Vienna (since February 2026). Prior to this, she worked as a Special Intern in Radiology at Fachtierärzte Althangrund in Vienna, where she focused on diagnostic imaging and discovered her strong passion for neurology.
She previously practiced as a Veterinarian at ANICURA Tierklinik Erdberg and gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Parasitology at the Vetmeduni Vienna. During her studies, she worked in several small animal referral clinics in Vienna and served as a Teaching Assistant in Veterinary Physiology and Veterinary Anatomy at Vetmeduni Vienna.
She obtained her Diploma in Veterinary Medicine (Mag. med. vet.) from the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna and is fluent in German, Italian, and English.
