Dr. LI Hui graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine of China Agricultural University in 2005. From 2005 to 2010, she completed a clinical internship and graduate studies at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of China Agricultural University (CAUVTH) and obtained a doctorate at the same time. In 2011, she joined the surgical team of the CAUVTH. Since 2017, she has served as the director of the Surgical Specialty of the CAUVTH, and the deputy director of the Veterinary Surgical Specialty Committee of the Chinese Veterinary Medical Association in 2023.
Dr. LI Hui studied at the Surgical Center of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Vienna and the Emergency Referral Center in Toronto, Canada. Her fields of interest include general soft tissue surgery, otolaryngology, and oncological surgery. She has translated and co-translated: Small Animal Surgery (5th Edition), Veterinary Surgery Small Animal, Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery, Atlas of Small Animal Wound Management and Reconstructive Surgery, Small Animal Surgical Emergencies, Veterinary Clinics of North America: Soft Tissue Surgery and Perioperative Care, Small Animal Internal Medicine, BSAVA Small Animal Formulary and many other books into Chinese.
