Dr. Radu Constantinescu graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest in 2012.
He has always been fascinated with ultrasonography, even as a student, so after graduating he started conducting the research for his PhD thesis, ”Contributions In Evaluating Renal Ultrasound Changes In Some Renal Diseases In Dogs By Measuring Vascular Renal Indexes”.
He obtained his PhD in Veterinary Clinical Sciences at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest in 2019.
From 2012 to 2019 he worked as a freelancer in different private practices in Bucharest taking care mainly of ultrasound and radiological examinations.
He also worked in a private practice that offers only Diagnostic Imaging services in Bucharest from 2017-2019.
In January 2020 Dr. Constantinescu joined the Diagnostic Imaging team at Davies Veterinary Specialists, UK as an Assistant Radiologist and dreams of having the chance to become a Resident in Diagnostic Imaging and a Board Certified Radiologist.
He is author and co-author in many scientific publications in national and international peer reviewed journals regarding ultrasound, radiology and MRI in small animals and presented his work at national and international meetings.
He has been a lecturer in several national conferences on ultrasound examinations and an instructor at SCIVAC Practical Abdominal Ultrasound Course in 2019.
His main interest still remains vascular ultrasound of small animals, but also CT and MRI of small animals.
