Janis Lapsley is an Assistant Professor of surgical oncology at the Ohio State University.
Janis Lapsley graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in California in 2014. Following 2 years of general rotating and speciality surgical internships, she completed a small animal surgical residency at Cornell University Hospital for Animals. She then completed an additional year of surgical oncology fellowship training with the Integrated Oncology service at the Ohio State University. She is an ACVS boarded small animal surgeon and an ACVS Fellow in surgical oncology. Her research interests include lymph node mapping for oral and cutaneous tumors and early cancer detection methods.
