Roxana Merca graduated 2010 in Timisoara, Romania. She then moved to Austria and completed a rotational Internship at Vienna's University of Veterinary Medicine. Afterwards, she worked as a clinical assistant in the Clinic of Small Animal Surgery at VetMedUni, where she engaged also in the training of students and interns. She completed her ECVS residency training in Munich and Vienna and became a Diplomate of ECVS in 2023. Since 2022 she has been working in a private clinic where she enjoys all aspects of surgery, with a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and traumatology. She is actively and constantly involved in teaching and training students and vets.
