Dr. Jan Hendrik Wennemuth is an accomplished veterinary radiologist specialized in CT and MR imaging. Since 2023, he has been the Head of Radiology and Clinical Director at Tierklinik Hofheim, one of Germany’s leading veterinary clinics. Dr. Wennemuth earned his European Diploma (DipECVDI) as a European Specialist in Veterinary Radiology, following a comprehensive residency at the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) from 2018 to 2022, also at Tierklinik Hofheim.
Prior he qualified as a German Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, enhancing his expertise gained as a Clinical Assistant in Small Animal Surgery at Justus Liebig University in Gießen from 2014 to 2018. In Gießen, he completed his doctoral thesis on comparative radiographic and CT assessments of the medial coronoid process, a study relevant to genetically influenced skeletal diseases in small animals. Since 2017, Dr. Wennemuth has also contributed as a member and scrutinizer for the Society for Radiographic Assessment of Genetically Influenced Skeletal Diseases (GRSK).
