Lars graduated from Utrecht University in the Netherlands, in April 2016. He worked in a busy first opinion practice in the Netherlands for three years. In 2019 he started a rotating internship, followed by a surgical internship at a referral centre in the Netherlands. In 2021 he moved to the UK to start a second surgical internship, at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists (SCVS). He started his residency in small animal surgery at SCVS in June 2022 and is schedule to finish his residency in June 2025.
