Advanced Diagnostic Ultrasound

16 - 20 May 2024 | Shanghai, China

General Overview

This course is for doctors who have acquired an average to good ultrasound technique but find it challenging to diagnose a congenital or acquired shunt. It is also suitable for doctors who desire excellent technical knowledge of ultrasound machine usage and the Doppler system. Good knowledge and experience in Basic ultrasound techniques is a must to enrol for this course.

You will learn about the more advanced keys for the analysis of lesions to generate the most likely list of differential diagnoses. This will be discussed with the course masters. By the end of the course, you should be able to understand the complexity of shunts and challenging new anatomical regions. You should be able to properly set your ultrasound machines and you should be able to make a difference for their patients and colleagues in every day practice.

This course is part of a full study program in veterinary diagnostic imaging, consisting out of 5 courses of 5 days duration each.
