General Overview

This advanced-level course builds upon the fundamentals of veterinary neurosurgery, offering in-depth training in brain surgery, spinal stabilization techniques, and the management of more specialized and complex neurological conditions. The program is designed to reflect the evolving nature of the field, with annual updates based on emerging surgical techniques, challenging case studies, and innovations in diagnostics and treatment.

Through a combination of theoretical sessions, case discussions, and practical components, participants will deepen their clinical reasoning and surgical skills, enabling them to confidently approach difficult neurosurgical cases in practice. This course is ideal for veterinarians who have completed Neurosurgery I or have equivalent clinical experience and are seeking to advance their expertise in the field of small animal neurology and neurosurgery.

Language

All modules will be held in China, in English language with consecutive translation in Chinese.

REQUIREMENT: Neurosurgery I is strongly recommended. Ideally, candidates should have some experience in small animal surgery and be familiar with soft tissue handling.
