Basic Diagnostic Ultrasound

General Overview

The aim of the course is to provide a systemic US approach for the abdominal organs that will not only allow to find them easily, but will be the first step towards understanding the complex anatomy of the major abdominal vessels.

The basis for the analysis of the lesions to generate the most likely differential diagnosis would be also provided. At the end of the course you will understand the basic physics of US, needed to set properly the machine, the US anatomy and the anatomical landmark to locate all the abdominal organs and vessels. At home practice will be needed to consolidate the knowledge and be ready for Advanced Diagnostic Ultrasound.

This course is part of a full study program in veterinary diagnostic imaging, consisting out of 5 courses of 5 days duration each.

Language

All modules will be held in China, in English language with consecutive translation in Chinese.
